Video cameras are a pretty big deal for YouTubers, vlogers, and anyone who owns a smart phone... Between hardware stabilization (OIS) and software stabilization (EIS) which is better? This video shows examples of both. Personally, I think that OIS, (Optical image stabilization) wins every single time. It keeps the image 'straight' and solid. So if there IS shake... you can stabilize it electronically later while editing. EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) already 'warps' 'crops' and 'distorts' the image so further stabilizing later on with video editing would be worthless. Any flagship or premium handset should come with OIS as a standard. (FYI - the S7 and S7 Edge have the same camera.) Here are a few fun film facts: *Nexus6P* - EIS 29FPS Mono Audio - 95kbs 41mbs film quality *Galaxy S7* - OIS 30FPS Stereo Audio - 255kbs 48mbs film quality Let me know what you think in the comments! *Follow me for updates!* Instagram: Facebook: Twitter: GooglePlus: JerryRigEverything assumes no liability for property damage or injury incurred as a result of any of the information contained in this video.
