In the case of this sweet, road-focused SL-C, slick 2-stage was applied over yellow gelcoat by our friends at Charlotte Speed Shop. Adopted from a 2010 Corvette, this coupe’s mid-mount LS3 twists an easy 460 horsepower into a solid 424 lb./ft. of tire-turning torque. Behind that block, a tough Kennedy Engineered clutch kicks a modified Getrag 6-speed that was cribbed from a Porsche 993 Carrera.
