Video footage courtesy of @FOBBVCAM Weather forecast from Bensweather Jackie has been on the nest for about 45 hours! This is her longest shift on record. Shadow visited the nest 2/4 17:16 and was seen today at 9:40:31 (flyby). Jackie tends to do the lion's share of incubation in bad weather. She may not allow Shadow to sit on the nest at all, and he knows it. Jackie and Shadow do not need to eat every day, especially when they do not fly much and just conserve energy. Jackie was doing crop drops on 2/5. Snow is an amazing insulation material. It limits heat exchange. It stabilizes temperature. It even muffles sound!➡ 🥚Egg1 was laid 1/25 16:55 . 🥚Egg2 was laid 1/28 13:59 . 🥚Egg3 was laid on 1/31 17:58 . Pip Watch begins on 2/29 ℹResident Bald Eagle male: Shadow (unbanded) since May 2018.
