Scott Ritter press conference on 5 October 2002 in Seattle, Washington English language Scott Ritter was in Seattle to give a talk that night explaining that from his first hand experience as a UN weapons inspector there are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The U.S. government was using their claim Iraq had WMD’s as a pretext to justify invading Iraq. Ritter was proven 100% right when U.S. military forces were unable to fine a single WMD in Iraq after the country was invaded in March 2003.
