The U.S. Forest Service reported Tuesday morning that the fire burning west of Loveland has grown to 1,820 acres and is still 0% contained. The fire is being called the Alexander Mountain Fire. The U.S. Forest Service (USFS) said it is burning in the Roosevelt National Forest. The USFS said an aircraft had measured the fire at 1,820 acres as of Tuesday at 10 a.m. Officials with the forest service said the fire crept slowly downhill overnight but there were no major runs. A complex incident management team has been ordered to provide extra manpower.
