PARIS - Stephane Rolland’s Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection at Paris Couture Fashion Week was one more art than merely fashion, since his gowns were seen as wearable sculptures. The garments were like pieces one would see in a museum, not on a catwalk. Metal and satin were the fabric and color dujour and they were seen on the sleek jumpsuits hat stuck close to the model’s body (slits were also part of the piece) and the sheaths that were accented by bows. The main event--a wedding gown made of white yarn formed in a pattern. See more @
