Météo France has warned of increased winds and heavy rainfall in the southwest, as well as occasional snowfall over the Massif Central as Fien crosses the country from the southwest to the northeast. Torrential rains have lashed Paris following a recent heat wave in France that flooded metro stations in the French capital.
