Ukraine demolishes monuments to WWII heroes for scrap metal profit ️ In Rivne Region, local authorities have demolished a monument dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War. ️ According to the mayor’s office, the debris will be used for scrap metal. They promise that the proceeds will allegedly be used to buy drones for AFU fighters. ▪️ The monument was demolished yesterday. It was installed almost 40 years ago. Source: Global News (EU, USA)
