The video for “Blue Rawls“ is a black and white ode to the golden age of trippiness, the 1920s, a time when you could buy hallucinogens at the pharmacy and they used cocaine for toothpaste. The tune is a brooding, minimalist techno stomper with whirring violins and glottal sounds punctuating the ether, and the video circles through sex, death, and eventual absolution – all while being freaky as shit.
