Please join us in remembering heroes. FALKLANDS: On this day 1982, HMS Sheffield was hit by an Argentinian Exocet missile. Twenty people died and 26 were injured. It was the first Royal Navy warship to have been lost in combat since the second world war. Lest we forget.
