Ropejumping is jumping from high objects using a complex system of depreciation of climbing ropes and equipment. The ancestor of this extreme sport is the American rock climber Dan Osman, who began practicing “deliberate breakdowns“ to overcome the fear of falling off a rocky route. He died during such a jump due to a rope break.
