St. Paul, Minnesota resident Alex Mingus was recently given an award by his local police department for helping save the life of a gunshot victim. However, when asked to say a few words during the award ceremony, Mingus took the opportunity to disparage the cops, saying “I don’t rock with the police” and “riots work,” all while noting that he might not have had to help the victim if nine police cars hadn’t driven right past as the man nearly bled out. Jimmy and America’s Comedian Kurt Metzger take some pleasure in Mingus’ speech, with Jimmy only wishing that he had taken the opportunity to speak longer and light into his benefactors even more.
