Lawrence of Arabia - Desert Disenchantment (Short Film & Original Music by MoonLotus)

Lawrence of Arabia is a masterpiece of a film, both in its visual splendor and epic storytelling. It is undoubtedly my favorite cinematic creation of all time. I set out to tell an abridged musical version of the story of T.E. Lawrence, using my electric guitar, bass, drum samples, and other music production techniques. However, it wouldn’t be whole without scenes from the film to give you context. So I edited the 3 hour 45 minute movie into a cinematic music video just under 5 minutes, scored by my original music (with dialogue and orchestra samples from the film score). It goes without saying, the entire short film contains spoilers if you have not watched the film. If you do plan on watching it, go do that first (you won’t regret it), and then watch my rendition of T.E. Lawrence’s adventurous and tragic journey in Arabia.
