Apparently for 137 years the world failed to see more engraved sound waves on Thomas Edison's First Phonograph Recording. The last verse was located on the B side of the phonograph cylinder. It reveals a darker side to what was once thought to be an innocent nursery rhyme. How they didn't already hear it is beyond me. Mary had a little lamb whose fleece was white as snow and everywhere that Mary went the lamb was sure to go. it followed her to school one day, but now the lamb is dead. But it still goes to school with her between two chunks of bread.
