Combat Work of Assault Groups of the Southern Group of Forces In the Kurakhovsky direction of the Special Military Operation, attack aircraft of the 242nd Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 8th Army of the “Southern“ group of forces captured an important stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Stealthily approaching the enemy position, Russian servicemen engaged in close combat with militants who barricaded themselves in a dugout and responded to calls for surrender with small arms fire. Despite facing heavy mortar fire and attacks from FPV drones, Russian attack aircraft successfully captured the stronghold. After neutralizing the enemy, Russian servicemen handed over the captured positions to the fortification group and retreated to the rear.
