Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that his country had carried out a new test of Burevestnik which is a nuclear-powered cruise missile with “global range,“ and that it was successful. Putin revealed this while speaking at the annual meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club, a Moscow-based think tank. The Russian President did not state when or where the latest Burevestnik test had been carried out but some reports indicate that it was at the Pankovo test site in the Novaya Zemlya archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. This technically means that Russia will potentially have a weapon that no one else has, in a not-so-distant future. In this video Defense Updates why Russia’s Burevestnik unlimited range nuclear powered nuclear-armed cruise missile is a nightmare?
