The Australian Ford LTD FD series released in 1982 was available in both a V8 and 6-cylinder as a luxury family car. By 1984 the V8 option was dropped as Ford moved from the larger engine platform. Ali's 1984 example was factory fitted with the fuel injected cross-flow 6 only made around 150hp, not much by today's standard.
