15. Internationale Modellbaumesse Ried 2023

Die Modellbaumesse in Ried zeigt, wie man es machen muss, wenn man heutzutage eine tolle und groß angelegte Ausstellung/Messe aufziehen möchte. Nicht umsonst gehört die Veranstaltung zu meinen persönlichen Favoriten im Terminkalender und ich lasse es mir nicht nehmen dort jedes Jahr auszustellen. Alle Genres sind vertreten und das Publikum besteht nicht nur aus Leuten “vom Fach“, sondern es sind auch viele Besucher dabei, welche dem Thema Modellbau sonst so gut wie gar nicht ausgesetzt sind. Das finde ich besonders wichtig, denn das Hobby muss sich auch der breiten Öffentlichkeit präsentieren dürfen. Das ist an der Messe in Ried wirklich einmalig. Wie immer habe ich meinen Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen. Es war mir eine Freude mich mit meinen Freunden dort zu treffen und die Zeit für Fachsimpeleien und nette Gespräche zu nutzen. Außerdem durfte ich auch einige neue Leute kennenlernen, man knüpft auch solchen Messen stets gute neue Kontakte. Natürlich gab es dort Unmengen von Modellen aus allen erdenklichen Genres zu sehen, wie dem Plastikmodellbau, Papiermodelle, Modelleisenbahn, RC Modellbau, Lego und so weiter. Ich habe mich hier aber vornehmlich auf ein paar Impressionen aus dem für mich relevanten Bereich Plastikmodellbau beschränkt. There is a reason why this show is one of my favourites and i make an effort to exhibit my work there every year. All genres were present and the audience was not only composed of “experts“, a lot of the visitors aren´t normally exposed to scale modelling at all. I think this is important to note, because this hobby has to get a chance to present itself to a wide public audience from time to time. This aspect about the model show in Ried is unique. As always i enjoyed my time there a lot. It was a great pleasure to meet my friends there again and use the time for shoptalk and other chats. Apart from that i was able to meet new people, such shows are always good for establishing new contacts. Of course there were tons of models from all possible genres on display there, like plastic scale modelling, paper models, model railroad, RC modelling, Lego and many more. I focused on a few impressions of the, for me at least, most relevant plastic modelling genre.
