PDF can be found at Some useful gumpf; click on SHOW MORE (just below). It's scored, as usual, with Sibelius 7.5 The piano audio was created in Presonus Studio One v4.5 using Modartt’s Pianoteq 7 Steingraeber Grand piano and processed thru Valhalla’s Vintage Verb. Peter’s vocals and Steve’s guitar solo come from the centre channel of the 2007 5.1 DVD mixes. I should point out that this centre channel was not very ‘clean’! What I mean is that there was (for whatever reason) a more-than-usual amount of ‘bleed’ from the other tracks. Most of the time this wasn’t an issue, but, especially during the Mid section and the Last Verse, it sometimes became necessary to chop the vocal up to get rid of the background ‘noise’. However there are one or two occasions where it would’ve meant curtailing Peter’s final syllable too drastically so apologies for the occasional bits of ‘noise’. When listening to my audio you may notice that there’s a LOT of ‘tempo rubato’…!! Some of this occurs in the instrumental passages and is based on how I personally play them. But during the verses and the outro I had to REALLY mess around with the tempo of what I’d originally played into Studio One so that it fitted with Peter’s vocals and Steve’s guitar solo! I’m still not certain it’s exactly sync’ed up but life’s too short 😏 Really though, it’s the score that’s the raison d’etre for these YT postings so… Copious performance notes can be found in the PDF. As always, have fun 🙂
