That trip put me in a very different headspace & I wrote some music to try express how I felt during that time. I decided to release the body of music under my own name, David Scott, because it was so different to anything I released under The Kiffness. I called the EP “Departures“, because it felt like a departure from my former self, but I also because I wrote most of the EP in Departures lounges.
