The second mission takes place further south at the famous Alcázar of Toledo, a large fortification held by the Nationalists that was the stage for a large siege by the Republican militias. The siege lasted almost a week until the Nationalists were reinforced by the Army of Africa, a Spanish Moroccan colonial army that favored the overthrow of the Republic.
