Unissued / Unused material - Title reads: “What's New? A Mechanised Chinese Dinner!“. China. GV People eating in communal dining hall in Communist China. MS Tray of hot food is taken from oven. Various shots of machine grinding vegetables. Various shots as cook dishes out of food onto plate and puts in into a bomb-like container. She presses a button and the electricity operated 'bomb' moves from kitchen to dining room and stops over table. Waitress removes plate. CU People eating with chopsticks. MS 'Bomb' rises from the table to be returned to kitchen, people still eating. (Comb. F.G.) Old record suggests material may date from around 27/04/1961. N.B.
