I always wanted to do something for this ship and this song just makes me think so much about them? To the dark, unhealthy and fascinating relationship of Jacob and Roth. My first OTP for Jacob is the Fryecest (and no I’m not ashamed for that, if you do not like this ship I understand but keep your judgment and your hate for you), but at the same time, I’m so fascinated by the relationship of Jacob and Roth. There is so much complexity and psychology in their relationship. Jacob first finds in Roth finally someone who understands him and with whom he can share his “savagery“ if I can formulate it so, while Jacob has spent his life with people who have tried to teach him prudence and maturity, his father, his sister, George, everyone. Roth is the first one with whom he can live madly. But he also realizes that Roth has no limits. That he can do monstrous things for his own sake or even just his only amusement.
