Detective games are secretly one of my favorite genres. Though I am not the biggest fan of point and click titles, the real time detective games out there are some of the finest story driven adventure games one can experience. Sherlock Holmes Awakened brings us the both worlds of Sherlock Holmes and Lovecraft lore in the form of Cthulhu. A match made in heaven one would think. Though the gameplay and story definitely are very enjoyable, I do not like it as much as Sherlock Holmes VS Jack the Ripper since many of the environments you visit in Awakened feel a bit desolate and barren. I am more a fan of visiting and exploring areas that feel lived in with many people walking about. Nevertheless it's still a great adventure and experience to sink your detective teeth into. #sherlockholmes #fullplaythrough #nocommentary #detective
