No other Sierra On-Line adventure game series was ever as consistently hilarious as Space Quest (with the possible exception of Leisure Suit Larry, whose humor was of an entirely different nature, though), especially since the games' humor and satire often went beyond simple matters of sci-fi and lambasted the self-important pride of technological progress in general. This is a great example in which Roger Wilco, from his current proliferance in the era of 256-color VGA Space Quest IV, makes the jump into (still relatively recent) past... and lands in a CGA-era spot on the planet Kerona in Space Quest I, whose biker bars are every bit as rife with danger as they are in real life.
