A fairly young Jaguar Cichlid (known for being fairly aggressive) joins this established Jack Dempsey tank. These fish had never seen each other until this moment. Note how the pair of Dempseys are quite interested in the Jag (which holds its own fairly well), and the larger Dempsey starts showing off a bit. I wasn't sure what was going to happen, but there were no fights - a friend who later took care of them said the three got along great. A friend inherited these fish and the tank from me in 2005, I no longer have them.
