Please pray for the Chesterfield police officer was injured in the line of duty this morning. Missouri: A Chesterfield police officer was injured after his patrol car was struck during a traffic stop Tuesday morning on Interstate 64 (Highway 40). The Missouri Highway Patrol said the officer was sitting in the patrol car on westbound I-64 near the Spirit of St. Louis Boulevard exit, said Highway Patrol Cpl. Dallas Thompson. Around 7:20 a.m., a car hit the patrol car. The officer was taken to a hospital for treatment. Sgt. Robert Powell of Chesterfield police said the officer was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
