Jonas Kaufmann and Helmut Deutsch performed Robert Schumann’s song-cycle “Dichterliebe“ Op. 48 as part of the @BayerischeStaatsoper’s 4th Monday concert on April 27 2020 in front of an empty national theater. The song-cycle was composed by Robert Schumann in 1840 and based on parts of Heinrich Heine’s “Lyrisches Intermezzo“ which was published in 1827. “Am leuchtenden Sommermorgen“ is the 12th song in the cycle.
