On May 28, a BRICS ministerial lunch took place at the Russian Permanent Mission to the UN Office and Other International Organizations in Geneva, on the margins of the 77th Session of the World Health Assembly. The meeting was attended by health ministry leaders from BRICS member states and the World Health Organization, who were able to exchange views in a friendly atmosphere on key international agenda issues, including combating antimicrobial resistance, developing nuclear medicine, vaccine production, strengthening the global health architecture, early warning systems for health emergencies, digital health, and artificial intelligence. ? Everyone in attendance supported the healthcare priorities of the Russian presidency in BRICS and welcomed the schedule of the joint events proposed by the Russian Side.
