Some Of These Miney Things Are Not Like Other Miney Things

This prospect was really out in the middle of nowhere and required a decent hike in... So, the discussion as to how in the hell not one, but TWO televisions ended up out there was a lengthy one. It’s the first time that I can recall seeing televisions at a mine. And here we had two! Given the area, this was almost certainly a gold mine, but since we have no records or even a name, I won’t state with absolute certainty that it was. This was literally just a small “X” on the map (an “X” indicates a prospect rather than a proper mine) with the black square indicating a structure. 9 times out of 10 in the mountains, that means finding a clearing where something may have been and an odd piece of metal scrap or two hidden in the pine needles and underbrush. That’s why we were impressed by all of the interesting features at this one.
