Fort Lauderdale Police capture friendly kangaroo

Police captured a runaway kangaroo on Thursday in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It took authorities around 30 minutes to find and capture the kangaroo with a rope around its neck. The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission will takeover the situation. In Florida, it is illegal to keep kangaroos and other exotic animals in a residence. Authorities said the kangaroo belonged to a local owner, but it’s unclear how the animal escaped his home. Original Article:
