Aaron Brown (later of ABC & CNN) reports on horrific, somersaulting DC-10 plane crash that same day in Iowa. Incredibly, 185 of the 296 people on board survived due to the actions of the flight crew who were forced to land the aircraft after a complete loss of all flight controls and failure of its tail-mounted engine.
