‘It’s in general deliberate policy of Poland to destroy monuments from Soviet history and to Soviet soldiers,’ remarks the historian Teimur Dzhalilov as he speaks about how Europe is waging a war against the monuments. According to the deal with Russia, monuments on Poland’s territory must fall under the latter’s protection. But the Polish officials employed a cunning trick as they said the agreement only involves cemeteries. Thus, according to the Polish authorities, they’re ready to provide protection exclusively to the monuments near the burial sites. The others will not be protected from demolition. Such ‘needless’ obelisks to fallen Soviet soldiers are being removed from Poland by a resident of Belarus, Natalya Ilnitskaya. What does she do with them? To find out, watch the video and the new series of the investigation film by Anna Chapman, ‘Red Alert. Warsaw syndrome’. The link is in the first comment!
