The video was made only for educational purposes, viewer discretion is advised. In Yosemite National Park, you can find mountains, waterfalls, nature of unspeakable beauty, and… death. Since the park’s foundations, it became grave to around thirteen hundred people. Nevertheless, the locals believe the number of victims is far greater because some people vanish without a trace. In this video, I cover one of the most famous accidents: 1. Korean Instructor (September 29, 2023): Fell to death while descending from El Capitan. 2. Dean Potter (43), (May 16, 2015): Died in a BASE jumping accident off Taft Point. 3. Graham Hunt (29), (May 16, 2015): Died alongside Dean Potter in the BASE jumping accident off Taft Point. 4. Vishnu Viswanath (29) and Meenakshi Moorthy (30), (October 25, 2018): Fell to their deaths from Taft Point. 5. Brandon Mendez (16), (July 4, 2023): Drowned in Lake Yosemite. 6. Saul Perez-Santos (23) and William Lopez (23), (Year not specified): Drowned in the same location as Brandon Mendez. 7. Three unnamed individuals, (July 19, 2011): Died after falling from Vernal Fall. 8. Kyle Dickman, (June 20, 2018): Survived a rattlesnake bite near Foresta Falls, but suffered significant health and financial consequences. 9. Carole Sund (42), Juli Sund (15), and Silvina Pelosso (16), (February 14, 1999): Murdered during their visit to Yosemite Park. 10. Stacey Arras (14), (July 25, 1981): Disappeared in the Sunrise Meadows area and was never found. --------- Thanks for watching.
