Elon Musk's UPGRADED Lunar Starship Just LEAKED! SpaceX revealed last week that it is already working on a significant redesign of its second-stage Starship spacecraft, despite having just completed two Starship integrated test flights. Version 2 will be the name given to the ship because the design alterations will be substantial enough to speciate it. Elon Musk stated on X that before switching to its V2 product line, SpaceX intends to complete and fly four or five more Starship V1 prototypes. The new rocket will include the knowledge acquired during the next flights. But, of course, Version 2 would not be the final version. And a new design for the lunar starship has been leaked. With all six of its Raptor engines firing and the spacecraft reaching a height of 150 kilometers, the Starship spacecraft behaved admirably during the first ascent of IFT-2. But at that moment—just as Starship's second stage burn was about to end—its telemetry was lost, and the self-destruct button was activated. After reviewing the flight, SpaceX engineers will make a few minor adjustments before attempting to launch IFT-3 back into near-orbit, most likely with the help of Starship 28 and Booster 10. In three to four weeks, according to Musk, the hardware will be prepared for flight. Therefore, the assumption is that an early 2024 Starship launch could be possible if we add the Elon multiplier, divide by pi, and account for this month's horoscopes. In order to reach their target of going back to the Moon in a few years, NASA and its group of international and commercial partners are moving quickly forward. With a remarkable run of successes, the Artemis program's momentum has increased. NASA accomplished the almost perfect Artemis 1 mission less than a year ago, testing the SLS rocket and the Orion crew capsule. The crew of the Artemis 2 lunar flyby, Reid Wiseman, Christina Koch, Victor Glover, and Jeremy Hansen, were revealed in April, and they have since begun their training. The objectives of these two missions are to prepare the way for Artemis 3, which will be the first crewed lunar landing in more than 50 years. SpaceX's Starship lunar lander, which is in charge of transferring humans from lunar orbit to the Moon's surface during Artemis 3 and 4, is one of the most significant components that make up the Artemis architecture. There has been significant confusion regarding the status of Starship and the launch window for Artemis 3 since the vehicle's spectacular debut in April.
