I am an Artist, I like to do paintings in Madhubani Art Form, it is also known as Mithila Painting, these paintings reflect the Art, Culture and Nature I started painting since my primary school and participated in many competitions and exhibitions. I met many great people and got inspired by them. In my view Art is the way we live Madhubani painting is a folk-art form of India. These painting are practiced in the Mithila region of India by women. They are continued from generation to generation. These paintings were done with a variety of tools, like brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks. They apply natural dyes and pigments to the paintings. In the olden days they used to paint them on mud walls plasted with cow dung, now in the modern days they are using different types of materials like handmade paper and decorating materials etc. These paintings contain eye catching geometrical patterns filled with bright natural colours. Symbolism is strongly developed in the madhubani paintings, for example a peacock in the Madhubani painting represents divine love, knowledge, and prosperity. Fish is a symbol of fertility and prosperity. Elephant symbolizes power etc, These paintings represent cultural identity of the land and shows the psychology of the society to which it belongs; it reflects the morals, values, and customs of the region in a very interesting way that everyone can understand (pictorial language). To day I am going to draw a beautiful bird, generally birds are very beautiful, they have two wings covered with bright and beautiful coloured feathers. Each and every bird is different, they have different habits and different ways of living, for example some birds live in hot climate and some birds live in cold climate.
