I went to Shimabara Castle, a landmark tower in Shimabara City in Nagasaki Prefecture. I traveled the Shimabara Peninsula along the Ariake Sea and arrived with Fugen-dake of Mt. Unzen in view. Shimabara Castle is a reconstructed castle tower made in the 39th year of the Showa era (1964).
