No titles. London. At a fashion show at the Millroy (hotel?) we see several models in Elizabethan dress posing before the audience. Actress Mary Morris is dressed as Queen Elizabeth I in ornate gown and ruff and looks around imperiously at the mostly male audience. The idea of the period costume is to illustrate the new Elizabethan age. Several shots of models parading about in modern evening gowns. First one is called 'Watermelon', with velvet draped across the shoulders. The next model wears a white strapless and form fitting gown with a one-sleeved velvet stole. For “baby debs“ we see a sleeveless chiffon cocktail dress called 'Fudge', worn with a chiffon bolero and small hat. The final gown is a regal number in white duchesse satin with an embroidered gold corsage section in the front and rear called 'Crown Imperial'. The model wears elbow length white gloves and a tiara. Final shot shows several modern models posing with 'Queen Elizabeth I'. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH P
