NASA’s largest planetary mission, Europa Clipper, is preparing for launch. Watch approximately 24-hours of Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations work that occurred over several weeks being performed by personnel from Kennedy, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), and Airbus Netherlands condensed down to less than two minutes. One of their main objectives during this time period was to install and test the spacecraft’s massive solar arrays, which it will need as it travels to Jupiter, which, is five times as far away from the Sun as Earth so it can determine if Europa harbors conditions suitable for life.
