Ivanka Trump will be in attendance to support her father when he officially accepts the Republican nomination for president, The Post is told — as she admitted his recent conviction was “painful.” Despite having left politics, Donald Trump’s daughter — who said in a new interview with podcaster Lex Fridman that politics is a “rough, rough business” and a “pretty dark world” — will watch his speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, later this month, her spokesperson confirmed. The RNC will run from July 15-18 at the Fiserv Forum, and Trump sources stressed that Ivanka will not serve in any political capacity at the event, as a delegate, fundraiser or otherwise.
