The nation of Namibia is grieving the death of President Hage G. Geingob, who died on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Lady Pohamba Hospital. The 82-year-old leader was with his wife, Madame Monica Geingos, and his children when he lost his fight against cancer at around 12:04 am. Vice President Nangolo Mbumba announced the sad news with deep sorrow, saying, “It is with great sadness that I inform you that our dear Dr. Hage G. Geingob has departed. Despite the best efforts of his doctors, President Geingob, unfortunately, did not make it.“ President Geingob came back from the United States of America on January 31, 2024, after a two-day new treatment for cancer cells. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Let's come together in reasonable dialogue to honour our ancestors and reclaim the world through an African lens.
