Full title reads: “Hyde Park. Over 10,000 London Legionaries on Parade. The Lord Mayor & 24 London Mayors, take the salute in great British Legion Rally.“ Hyde Park, London. Chelsea pensioners wearing their traditional outfits march past. A military band are playing in the background. Side view of the saluting platform - The Lord Mayor of London, Sir Percy Greenaway, is among those taking the salute. Men carrying the banners of their various British Legion branches march past - most of them are wearing medals - veterans of previous conflicts. The band play 'Pack Up Your Troubles in Your Old Kit Bag.“ C/U of the Lord Mayor. More men march past carrying flags. The parade has formed up in front of the saluting base and a general salute is ordered. The men remove their hats and their flags are lowered. Back view of the Lord Mayor giving a speech to the gathering. He describes the event as a 'gallant muster of soldiers and ex-soldiers'. (Natural sound track only - No commentary) FILM
