As the end of winter draws nearer, we're excited to get the new year started with Jakhira and Modulo's Alignment. First up is Rimbu, a sonic exploration into uncharted territories which effortlessly blends piano, violins and cello with a thunderous bassline and thumping percussion. Next is Moonchild, which was born out of classical instrumentation inspired by dreams of the night sky. Then we have twin sister Her, the first of Jakhira's solo efforts, in all her playful glory with guitar riffs and innocent keys dancing atop the ever-evolving pads underneath. Which leaves us with Searching For Utopia, to close off the EP in deeper terrain. Swirling synth pads and a scintillating string bring a touch of sci-fi to the menagerie of flavours.
