In this video we show you Rudolf Steiner's Bending-B health exercise. On the one hand, this health exercise involves bending the legs and then stretching them again. On the other hand, the consonant B is part of it. We do the B in the centre and alternate the arms, one time the one arm is up, then the other arm. Rudolf Steiner said about the B: ‘The B is always an envelopment, a protection; roughly speaking: the house you are in. The B is the house.’ - You can find a detailed explanation of the B in our video, which we have linked below. Now we do the complete health exercise: we bend the legs and simultaneously make a B and and then go back again. Rudolf Steiner describes this health exercise as follows: ‘Think of it now, we make a movement that is a bending and stretching of the legs, and we make a pronounced B movement at the same time [...], what I have now shown you, with a pronounced B movement at the same time, now all back again, B with the bending, this ten times in succession. This is something that people who frequently suffer from migraines or other headaches should do. Not when they have them, the headaches, but when they don't have them, they should do this.’ Source: -Rudolf Steiner, 1981, Heileurythmie, GA 315, S. 63f, Dornach/Schweiz, Rudolf Steiner Verlag -Consonant B: -Rudolf Steiner, 1998, Die Entstehung und Entwickelung der Eurythmie, GA 277a, Dornach/Schweiz, Rudolf Steiner Verlag -Rudolf Steiner, 1990, Eurythmie als sichtbare Sprache, GA 279, S. 64, Dornach/Schweiz, Rudolf Steiner Verlag -Logos Eurythmie -Video on the B: ► Subscribe now! ► Facebook ► Instagram #eurythmy #rudolfsteiner #anthroposophy #logos
