Thousands of New South Wales are urging to prepare for flash floods with heavy rain and thunderstorms that are forecast to hit many parts of the state this weekend. New South Wales received 88 flood warnings, with the extreme northeast and southeast of the state near the border with Victoria at the center of the crisis. In the north, an emergency warning was issued for Narrabri and the village of Terri-Hie-Khi, and in the southern outskirts for Moama, where hundreds of people were ordered to evacuate.
