It was written by Michael Jackson and Steve Porcaro and was intended for the Jacksons album “Victory“. Later it was also intended for Michael's album “Bad“, his album “HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I“, then finally for his last album “Invincible“. The song ultimately did not make the cut for any of the albums. The song has no connection to either “Al Capone“ or “Smooth Criminal“. The vocally complete song is about three girls who went out and mysteriously disappeared throughout the night, with a hook of “never to be found again“. Porcaro was approached by the estate about using it on “Xscape“, but declined to give permission on the basis that the song didn't need any “contemporizing“, and that he disapproves of the estate's “straight to remix“ approach to Michael's unreleased material.
