It took me 4 tries to find the right layout of the mold and technique to successfully get the fine details and especially the peckers of the eyebrows. After the successful pouring I cleaned the casts with an angle grinder, belt grinder, dremel and finally polished them. This is the ninth part of my first series about the recreation of a Vendel kings helmet found in grave 6, Valsgärde, Sweden, 2nd half of VIIth century.
