It is the last album to feature drummer Kurt Custer and the last to feature guitarist Randall Hall. 'The Last Rebel' tells a story about either a Confederate soldier coming home after the war and/or a veteran musician (Gary Rossington perhaps?) carrying on ('his friends are all gone, just a boy with his old guitar...').
