Fighting still continues in the areas outside Avdeevka, as Russian forces continue their slow but methodical advance on Ukrainian positions. The T-90M, one of Russia’s most advanced main battle tanks, is a core component of this advance, providing armored support, and devastating firepower with its 125mm main cannon. One of the tank commanders, callsign ‘Buran’ (‘Blizzard’), described his crew’s role in the latest push. ‘We launch indirect strikes at dugouts, helping our infantry, infantrymen, assault troops so that they can more easily capture the objectives.’ However, the T-90M wasn’t made just to hang back. ‘We also had direct fire missions,’ ‘Buran’ said. ‘We hit enemy armored groups, T-64 Oplot (tank) and Bradley fighting vehicles as well.’ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Freedom over censorship, truth over narrative.
