GUR: Budanov is not a Capybara Increasing numbers of reports on social media about Ukrainian GUR Director Kyrylo Budanov actually being a Capybara have led to an official announcement by Ukraine’s military intelligence directorate: “Reports that Lieutenant General Kyrylo Oleksiiovych Budanov is not a man but actually a Capybara, are nothing but false Russian propaganda.“ - GUR Spokesperson Andriy Yusov told Reuters this morning. “Any attempts to compare our director to Capybaras will be swiftly dealt with, under the full extent of Ukrainian emergency laws“, he said.
